Frozensky stared at Swifteyes and Gingerpaw. Ugh. There went the peace and quiet. But she sensed that he complaining about it now would not incite a very good reaction, and she was too tired to get in a fight.
Shardkit tailed Swifteyes into the nursery, his curiosity piqued. And there was of course the detail that he wanted to see his mom annoyed.

[-decides to bring Molepaw back into the roleplay-]
The apprentice was sprinting down the 'home stretch,' giving it all she had. She hurried into camp, a tornado, and tumbled a little when she tried to stop. Luckily, the coltsfoot was still in her jaws. She called through a mouthful of herbs, "Lightwind! I found some!" Molepaw shook herself off, and padded to the nursery.

Swifteyes smiled down at the four lumps of fur pawing her stomach. Their high-pitched mews rang through the nursery as they desperately tried to locate the milk they scented. The queen nosed them forward, guiding them to their destination. The kits began to suckle and she couldn't hold back the pure joy in her eyes. She peeled her irises away from the kits for a few moments.
"Thank you, Lightwind." She said, looking up at the medicine cat. "I'm sure ShadowClan will accept you as a medicine cat." She continued to observe her brand new offspring, wishing she could share this moment with her mate. She sighed, knowing that Sealtooth would've been proud to deliver his own kits. It was a shame they'd never know who their father was.

Lightwind sat down with a satisfied purr, pawing at her small stock of herbs. It took a moment for the she-cat to paw some borage leaves forwards, her own eyes reflecting the queen's joy. "Here, eat these." She meowed, if slightly croakily. "I'm glad to have helped. Molepaw was great. I just hope I am accepted." The Ebony pelted cat was slightly worried, but what mattered was that this queen's kits were safe.

Molepaw smiled, and beamed at Lightwind. The she-cat was her new idol. The apprentice wanted to be a medicine cat, too, but was too scared to ask. But before that matter is even addressed, Lightwind needs to be accepted by the leader. I think delivering kits would be a good way to prove worthyness, but it was all up to Shadedstar. "Thank you." she squeaked shyly to the she-cat.
Gingerpaw had left when Swifteyes was having the kits, and went to lie down in the apprentice's den. She could just barely hear little mewling sounds, and shrugged to herself. She had never got to use her trick on the medicine cat. The orange she-cat pulled herself up off the ground and padded into the clearing. Everyone seemed to be anxious about Swifteyes and the kits.

Thornkit had actually frozen for a moment. He had no clue as to what was going on, much less what to think about it all. He had stepped out of the nursery when everything had gone on, plus he still wasn't sure about Lightwind. After a few moments the kit got over his anger about rogues, he wanted to see if Swifteyes was okay. The kit nosed his way back into the nursery and blinked at the queen and her kits. "They are so tiny." he murmered half to himself and half to whoever was listening.

Lightwind nodded to Molepaw, paws kneading the ground. "Yes. Very well done indeed." The she-cat stood up, and arched her back in a stretch, tail fluffing out. She nodded kindly to Swifteyes, and smiled warmly to Thornkit. "They are rather tiny, aren't they? Don't go playing with them. Now, Molepaw, do you think you could take me to the leader of this wonderful clan?" The black feline asked, sounding extremely calm for a rogue that'd just walked into a camp and delivered some kits of a queen she didn't know.
((Sounds rather harsh when you put it bluntly doesn't it?))

Molepaw nodded. So Lightwind actually wanted to be in the clan? What if Shadedstar refused? Where could she go if she couldn't join the clan? The apprentice took a deep breath. "Okay, come on." she mewed, padding out into the clearing. She could sense the static in the air as she started towards the clan leader.
ooc; Nightwood hasn't been online in ages... Do we need a new ShadowClan leader?

Swifteyes chuckled at Thornkit's remark. "They are quite small, aren't they?" She replied, not taking her eyes off of her kits. "But just imagine, one day they'll be as big as me, maybe even bigger." She smiled at the thought of a bright future for her kits. She nuzzled the warmth she could proudly call her offspring beside her. She laid her head on her paws, as she silently observed the sleeping kits. She realized just how tired she was too. She would force her eyes open no longer, the heavy weight of sleep was stronger than her. It was a rather eventful day. Much more eventful than she had first anticipated. Quietly, and happily, she let sleep overcome her. Her breathing quickly steadying.
