Personality:
Irènè and Nia are sisters, but they certainly don't look it. Nia is a pure white she-cat, with a small build. Her eyes are a deep amber color. She's always very careful to keep her pelt clean, for dirt shows easily.
However, Irènè has a pitch black pelt. Her build is large and strong, taking after her father most likely. She has eyes like the sky, a light blue color but it her eyes never appear "soft".
Nia is very kind-hearted and soft. She has a love for all living things, enemy or not. She can be quite talkative and is not afraid to approach another cat and become friends. Irene, however, seems to be almost the exact opposite. She is quiet and sometimes described as "cold". Irene is very distrustful and is quite hesitant to talk with strangers.History:
Cold leaf-bare winds blew over the old barn as snow fell gently. The quiet mewing of kits could be heard from inside. They were young, but old enough to have their eyes open. One of them, a smaller one with amber eyes filled with fear, was crouching by the other one.Practice Post: Other:
It was crying out for help, desperately hoping that a cat was in the barn. The other one, with light-blue eyes, was looking straight ahead, glaring into the emptiness. A silver tabby she-cat slipped out from behind a haystack after hearing the kits. The amber eyed one rushed forward, grateful that the cat was there.
That she-cat, Frost, had cared for the two kits as if they were her own. They soon grew into two healthy she-cats. They always knew they were sisters, but their real parents had forever been a mystery.
The two had names of course, the one with amber eyes was Nia and the other was Irene. Nia was always curious, she often explored the land they lived in. Her scent was draped over everything. A fox had easily scented the cat, and it led him straight to the barn.
Nia and Irene were out hunting at the time. When they returned, they found Frost lying in the barn drenched in blood. The two felt horrible, they felt as if it was there fault. Irene was tough on the outside but she had opened her heart to Frost since she was used to her false mother.
As long as Irènè could remember, Nia was happy no matter what. She'd have a smile on her face and was always humming an upbeat tune. Although it was much to Irènè's dislike, she was used to it. After Frost's death Nia had been silent. She kept her head low, her eyes filled with sadness. Irènè would yell at her and blame her for Frost's death.
Until one cool spring night, Nia disappeared. Irènè searched for her once, but she decided that she would do so no longer. Irènè lived alone in the barn, each day training herself to become strong enough to defend herself.
When Irènè had scented foxes one again, she went out to find them. No longer will those beasts bother her! When the fox's auburn fur was in sight, it was already face to face with something else. A white she-cat with terror stretched across her face. Without thinking, Irènè leaped forward her claws ripping across the fox's face. The creature spat, and didn't bother to fight back. It fled from the scene, leaving the two cats alone.
Irènè turned, not bothering to say anything to the she-cat. "Irènè!" She called out, hanging her head. Irènè glanced back. "Keep your head up, Nia." She padded away, Nia following her. Irènè never said it, but she decided to use her strength to defend Nia. The two turned out to be inseparable.

Nia - NEE-ah
Irène- EE-ren-AY
Clan Relations:
Irène and Nia don't interact with clan cats much since they are off the territory. They may sometimes cross the territory to get to somewhere, but it's never to steal food and harm the clans. Nia claims that "We just want to be kind and friendly and not cause any trouble!". But Irène says that "It's a fair trade. We don't bother you, you don't bother us." If something goes wrong, Nia would easily ask the clans for help no matter how stubborn Irène can be.
